“The land was ours, before we were the land’s” – Robert Frost
Ghost Hill Cellars lives, creates and harvests by this telling Frost quote – and their wine breathes into the spaces in between.
A blend of rich earthiness and cherry at the core, the Bayliss-Bower 2008 Pinot Noir fills with a flourishing yet structured mid-palate that then leads to a touch of spice and elegant finish. Intertwined with notes of plum and cassis, the wine opens up with each sip and holds its flavors like a tight twill. On the nose, dry herbs and flowers perfume bringing the wine to a lovely crescendo with its terroir influences.
Located in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, Ghost Hills Cellars first planted the 234-acre Bayliss-Bower Vineyard in 1999.
Wow!! Thank you SO much for the kind and flattering words. I am so thrilled that you so enjoyed the wine. ~Cheers!
