Last week I enjoyed the sunshine with some wine on the back patio of Benton-Lane Winery with a few co-workers and the winery owners, Steve and Carol Girard. Their oak-fermented 2009 Chardonnay paired wonderfully with the rays of gold light as well as their light and crisp 2011 Pinot Noir Rose.
